The club was formed in 1870 and used to play in Eyhorne Street and then moved to Pilgrims Way in the 1950’s.  We are affiliated to the England & Wales Cricket Board and the Kent Cricket Board.

We play League Cricket on Saturdays in the Kent Cricket League and the Kent Regional Cricket League; on Sundays in the National Knockout Cup and friendly matches.
We also play Midweek friendly matches, and the Kent Cricket Board's T20 Competition.

We achieved ECB’s Clubmark Accreditation in 2009.
Clubmark is the ‘kite’ mark accreditation promoted by our governing body, the ECB, to protect the welfare of young people in Cricket.  It was important to us to achieve this status as it confirms that in the eyes of the ECB we are a safe, effective, and child/youth friendly club.

ClubMark enabled us to attract young members to our club and we now have a thriving junior section with approx 100 members from u9 to u15 age groups, with nearly 20 qualified coaches supporting the development of cricket at the club.
